This course introduces UN-Habitat’s Public Space Site-Specific Assessment (PSSA); a practical methodology designed to evaluate the quality of a selected public space and its surrounding area through a participatory approach.

Learners will be guided through the process of assessing public spaces, from data collection to analysis, using tools that promote community engagement and evidence-based decision-making.

The course also supports practitioners in mapping and interpreting gathered information to inform inclusive and context-sensitive public space design proposals.
